Capture the Flag Challenge 2023

It is an incredible opportunity to attend the highly anticipated “Capture the Flag Challenge 2023” event with Tenable, hosted by the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC). It was an exhilarating experience filled with intense competition, mind-boggling challenges, and an electrifying atmosphere.

The “Capture the Flag Challenge” aimed to cultivate the knowledge of the younger generation in the field of cyber security and trigger their interests, while nurturing the development of global cyber security talent.

This year’s CTF Challenge saw participation from over a thousand individuals for the second consecutive year, rivalling similar flag-capturing challenges in neighbouring regions. It has also begun to make its mark on the international stage, with the newly introduced overseas category attracting 126 teams from the Mainland, Asia, Europe and America. The CTF Challenge 2023 adopts a problem-solving approach, requiring participating teams to creatively tackle various issues within a limited timeframe, learning valuable knowledge and skills in cyber security such as cryptography, programming concepts, and network forensics from competing against opponents worldwide.

We would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the HKPC for organizing this remarkable event. Their commitment to fostering cybersecurity talent and promoting awareness is commendable. The “Capture the Flag Challenge 2023” will undoubtedly leave a lasting impact on all participants, inspiring them to strive for excellence and contribute to a safer and more secure digital world.

What a remarkable evening of sake tasting we had on Oct 31! ASL, Check Point, and Tenable joined forces to host a truly unforgettable event, and we are still buzzing with excitement!

On Oct 27, we hosted an epic team-building event that took collaboration and camaraderie to a whole new level!

The highlight of the day was our thrilling War Game, where our team members battled it out in an adrenaline-pumping showdown!

Armed with strategy and teamwork, we divided into squads and embarked on an adventure that tested our problem-solving skills, communication, and quick thinking. It was an immersive experience that brought out the best in each and every one of us!
